Built on the grounds of a former vineyard, the hotel has evolved gracefully over the years while preserving its distinctive family identity. Over time, each renovation has enhanced its spaces and contributed to making the guests experience ever more comfortable and refined.
THE FOLLOWING YEARS
1967
The Beginnings
REMORINO was built in 1967 by Nelly and Mario Qualizza, upon their return from Venezuela, on the grounds of a former vineyard. Some of the original vines can still be seen in the garden today, bearing witness to the deep connection between the hotel, its surroundings and its history.
THE FOLLOWING YEARS
The estate grows
Over the years, the property expanded with the acquisition of two neighbouring plots of land. These new spaces became home to the swimming pool and gardens, helping to shape the peaceful and harmonious atmosphere that still defines REMORINO today.
EARLY 1990S
The second generation
In the early 1990s, the management of the hotel passed to the second generation of the family, Sonia and Pascal Kirchlechner-Qualizza. With sensitivity and vision, they embarked on a gradual journey of renewal, carefully preserving the soul of the hotel while guiding it into a new chapter of its history.
1999
The new lobby
In 1999, the hotels spacious entrance lobby was renovated, creating the heart of the welcome experience and offering guests their first glimpse of REMORINO’S distinctive style. The renovations was designed to further enhance the hotel’s elegant and inviting atmosphere.
2004
The first room renovation
In 2004, the hotel’s guest rooms underwent their first renovation, with the aim of further enhancing comfort and the overall quality of the stay, while reflecting the hotel’s ongoing evolution.
2013
Fully renovated rooms
In 2013, all guest rooms were extensively renovated and equipped with air conditioning. This major transformation marked a new chapter in comfort and modernity, while maintaining a style that remained true to the hotel’s identity.
2015
The pool area expands
In 2015, the pool area was extended, creating an even more spacious and inviting setting dedicated to relaxation. A natural evolution for a hotel where tranquillity and well-being have always been at the heart of the guest experience.
2022
The redesigned lobby
In 2022, the lobby was redesigned to create an even more contemporary, elegant and welcoming atmosphere. A thoughtful transformation that reflects REMORINO’s ability to evolve with subtlety, while always remaining true to its distinctive character.
2025
The Villa, a new chapter
In 2025, REMORINO opened a new chapter in its history with the acquisition of the Villa. Bringing together the two properties and their gardens created an even more harmonious, elegant and charming setting, offering more space and further enriching the guest experience.
A complete renovation accompanied this evolution with a contemporary approach, while fully respecting the character of the property and its long-standing tradition of hospitality.
